Lisa Sentner has been a student of the Pilates method since 1994. In 2002, she became a loyal practitioner and earned her certification from PHI Pilates during 2003. Over the years, with consistent, comprehensive training & study of Joseph Pilates' work she formulated her teaching style that is deeply rooted in the benefits & principles of the Pilates method. Lisa founded Up Stretch Pilates Studio, a center of Pilates excellence, to work with individuals that seek strength and results, but do not have to travel to a high-priced Pilates studio.
Lisa's unique identity in the fitness community coupled with her vast experience & knowledge of Pilates has established her as an expert in Pittsburgh. She has been sought out to train individuals for rehabilitation, NFL players, TV celebrities, create company wellness programs and to appear at local health events and.
She is a Pilates Method Alliance member since 2003 & upholds excellence in teaching the Pilates method.

Lisa's mission is to assist each individual to implement Pilates principles on a daily basis so physical wellness goes beyond the hour in the studio. Whether you are seeking stress release, body strengthening, injury rehabilitation or just longing to feel better about yourself, Lisa can guide you through a Pilates program to maintain a healthy body & spirit.
